Dr. Michaela Rasmussen
Au.D., CCC-A
As a California native, Dr. Michaela Rasmussen graduated with her doctorate of audiology from the University of Utah and has worked with the House of Hearing since 2017.
She first found her love of audiology when she witnessed her father struggle with hearing loss in everyday situations. This drive to help her father led her to discover the field of audiology. Since then, she has changed the lives of many patients, including her father who is now a proud hearing aid owner. Through a combination of approaches, no one day is the same for Dr. Rasmussen.
From diagnostic testing to hearing evaluations and hearing aid fittings, she is always striving to help others wherever she can, and she often uniquely approaches tasks and questions things which would have otherwise been overlooked. Her ability to work alongside patients of all ages and backgrounds is a fantastic attribute to her kind character, and we are so proud to have her on the team.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family outdoors and she is always on the go. She is currently making improvements to her new home, which keeps her busy.
If you could have dinner with one person (dead or alive) who would it be?
Honestly, I think I would love to just have dinner with my grandma again. She has been gone 7 years now and there is not a day that goes by that I don’t miss her. She really was a wonderful lady.
