Kayla Sutherland
Audiology Technician
As an audiology technician Kayla’s journey began at Utah State University.
During her role at the House of Hearing, she is often multitasking different projects, including performing hearing and balance testing, checking insurance, assisting providers, and answering calls. While the job can be tough, requiring hard work and dedication, she compliments her success to the friendly people she works with, as everyone has so much enthusiasm to help others.
This has happened a few times, but she’s had patients come in for balance testing extremely nervous that they’re going to be sick and feel miserable for a long time after. She always feels success when they either don’t get sick at all or feel very little sickness but still get great results. It’s good to help them feel good while giving them answers to their problems.
Outside of work, she is a momma to a busy little boy and wife to a sports-loving husband. They’re a very busy family, as they’re always on the go and looking for something fun to do.
It might be a little obsessive, but Kayla and her husband have a whole closet full of games they love to play with anyone they can corner. As you can tell, she likes to make the most out of every day.
