Katryna McCoy
Patient Care Coordinator
Katryna grew up in Cottonwood Heights and South Jordan. A graduate of Bingham High School, she joined the Army at 18.
Working in the medical field always appealed to Katryna, but it took her a while before she could pinpoint the right area of healthcare. Fortunately, for our patients and team at House of Hearing, Katryna found her niche within hearing care where she says she loves helping people and seeing the difference that’s made in their day-to-day lives.
As our patient care coordinator, Katryna does everything she can to assist patients. Her responsibilities include answering the phones, scheduling appointments, and solving any issues a patient might be having over the phone.
Katryna loves working with her colleagues. She describes the team as a great group of people, and this makes coming to work easy. Witnessing patients overcome hearing challenges in their everyday lives is also rewarding for her. Katryna says that hearing the stories of how happy patients are as a result of their care makes her heart smile.
In her free time, Katryna enjoys spending time outdoors. She cherishes her ranch life and taking care of her animals while watching her children learn how to be responsible and grow their love for nature. Katryna is also a sports mom, so plenty of time is spent at a practice or game – usually at least six days a week!
