Michaela Rasmussen, Au.D., CCC-A

Michaela has worked for the House of Hearing since 2017 and graduated with her doctorate of audiology from the University of Utah. She first found her love of audiology when she watched her father struggle with a hearing loss in everyday situations. That need to help her father led to her discovery of the field of audiology. She has since helped her father with his hearing loss and strives to help others hear again just like him. She enjoys working with patients of all age groups with a variety of hearing needs.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family whether it’s going for bike rides, hiking, or camping – as long as she is with them she is happy. Her hobbies include baking, crocheting, shopping, and decorating her house. She has been with her husband since 2011 and married since 2017. They adore their new baby boy that was born this year. She is originally from California and moved here to go to the University of Utah but plans on staying here because they fell in love with the state.
