Elizabeth Frans, Au.D., CCC-A
A typical day for Elizabeth involves seeing patients for hearing evaluations, hearing aid consultations, fittings and follow ups, as well as cochlear implant and osseointegrated implant evaluations, programming, and troubleshooting.
Originally a Nebraska native, she went to school in Missouri – Vermillion. Afterwards, she did her undergrad at Rockhurst University and graduate school at University of South Dakota.
As an audiologist at House of Hearing, she spends a lot of her time getting to know her patients personally and understanding more about their background.
Although, without the rest of the diverse team, she wouldn’t be able to do her job, which offers a very personalized level of care, ensuring every patient walks out fully satisfied.
For Elizabeth, she loves “seeing patients who are in for cochlear implant evaluations who are nervous about not hearing.
“Then implanting them and seeing the progress they make throughout their rehabilitation. Their success is so rewarding!”
Outside of the clinic, she loves hiking, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
