Not long ago, we launched our competition, Hear for the Holidays.

It gave one special person in Northern Utah the opportunity to win a pair of hearing aids, as well as access to audiological care.

We received many nominations and were truly moved by all your touching stories.

Hearing loss can affect a person’s life in many ways, making it difficult to stay connected to others.

With face masks now a part of regular life, the effects of hearing loss have been exasperated, and many can no longer rely on lip reading.

Our Hear for the Holidays giveaway is one way to give back to the community that serves us and reward one deserving person with the gift of a lifetime.

So, without further anticipation, the winner of our 2021 Hear for the Holidays giveaway is…Tiffany Hargis!

The winner, Tiffany:

Tiffany has suffered from a hearing loss for many years and struggled to leave the house without feeling afraid.

Her uncle, Josh, wanted to surprise her with a gift of a lifetime and took her down to the clinic in Northern Utah for the reveal.

When Tiffany found out she had won, it was an emotional moment for all, as she was brought to tears.

Tiffany said, “This is so much more than winning a vacation or something fancy, this gives me my life back.

“I can leave the house without feeling scared I can’t hear someone right or be embarrassed. My family can talk to me and I can hear them.

“The hearing aids they gave me would have cost me $7500 if I was to purchase them for myself. They are Bluetooth and I am learning so much noise.

“Winning these hearing aids means so much to me. I am so thankful for my uncle, he cared enough to know this would help improve my life a ton.”

We can’t wait to see what the future holds for Tiffany, as she can now navigate through a new world of better hearing.

Thanks to everyone who took part – you’ve been incredible.

Do you know somebody that needs to see this? Why not share it?
