ReSound

ReSound Hearing Aids

Helping people rediscover their hearing in order to live rich, active, and fulfilling lives has been the focus of ReSound since 1943. Individuals from 80 countries worldwide have access to ReSound hearing aids, making it one of today’s largest hearing aid providers.

A subsidiary of the GN Group, a global leader in intelligent audio solutions, ReSound, along with other GN Group companies, is involved in the research and development of medical, professional, and consumer audio solutions. Years of research have led to the fabrication and distribution of med-tech, hearables, and intelligent audio products.

WDRC (Wide Dynamic Range Compression) was a major innovative step toward the capacity to adjust sound input intensities for a more comfortable hearing experience, while ReSound’s DFS (Digital Feedback Suppression) system was instrumental in resolving issues involving howling (feedback) and distortion.

The first open-standard digital chip, released by ReSound in 1992, introduced greater programming flexibility, leading to the ReSound AIR open-fit design in 2003, which was built to limit the discomfort of a plugged ear canal and provide a more natural sound from your hearing aid.

ReSound’s Device Features And Performance

The first connectivity options for hearing aids, using 2.4 GHz technology to link with iPhone and Android devices, was first introduced by ReSound, allowing for Bluetooth streaming, which makes it possible to link digital devices with your hearing aids for enhanced sound quality and clarity.

ReSound hearing aids are smaller, lighter, and allow for greater wearing discretion thanks to micro-digital technology while helping to improve sound quality and clarity as well as higher-level performance.

ReSound’s Remote Assist
